Vucic calls for creation of regional common market

Cooperation needed for strength and competitivity

10 April, 18:30

(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, APRIL 10 - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has appealed to Balkan states to subscribe to his idea of forming a regional common market in order to optimise resources and potential and facilitate trade.

Cooperation is what the region needs most, Vucic added.

"We cannot advance and improve if we remain divided in single small countries and even smaller markets, which instead need to join together to become stronger and more competitive," the president said. Vucic highligted the strong increase in trade registered in recent years between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, which has exceeded 1.7 billion euros. (ANSAmed)
