(ANSA) - ROMA, 21 GEN - Severe clashes between migrants and police in Bosnia-Herzegovina broke out Wednesday evening at the Blazuj camp, not far from Sarajevo.

Regional media said at least two police officers and a worker with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) were injured.

Some police cars were seriously damaged and overturned, and windows were broken.

Media said the clashes broke out when IOM workers tried to transfer one of the migrants, who they maintained was responsible for having provoked other incidents, to another camp.

That migrant is believed to be the leader of a group of migrants staying at the Blazuj camp.

The migrants tried to use force to impede his transfer, and clashes broke out.(ANSAmed). (ANSA).
