Four migrants missing in Danube, tried to cross into Croatia

Other six rescued, search underway

    (ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 11 - Four migrants have gone missing from a boat in the Danube River after attempting to cross illegally into Croatia, according to media in Belgrade.

    Media reports said the incident took place near Apatin, located on the Danube in northern Serbia, where a stretch of the large river marks the border with Croatia.

    Another six migrants who were on the boat that was used to try to reach the Croatian shore were rescued.

    Police and teams of divers are at the scene conducting searches for the missing migrants.(ANSAmed).
