    (ANSAmed) - NAPLES, AUGUST 20 - Nexflix is launching a new Arab TV series starring Egyptian singer-songwriter Amr Diab, famous throughout the Arab world and winner of seven World Music Awards and six African Music Awards. Arab News said Diab is returning to acting 27 years since his last role, when he played alongside Omar Sharif in the film "Dehk Wele'b Wegad Wehob". Diab, 58, announced his return to the screen via social media, with a new song for his 11.8 million followers. "I can't wait to work with Netflix on this new project," Diab said. "I always believed that art is a global language, and we can build bridges and love between various cultures through music. Now with this project, it will reach more than 193 million people in 190 countries across the world, and they will be able to see new television content made in Egypt," Diab said.
