Expo 2020: 1,000 Saudi students volunteer in pavilion

Riyadh starts workshop in faculty, associations

    (ANSAmed) - NAPLES, MARCH 10 - A reported 1,000 Saudi university students will work as volunteers in the pavilion of Saudi Arabia at the 2020 Dubai Expo scheduled on October 20. The country has started a workshop with presidents of students' associations and Saudi students from seven universities in the United Arab Emirates that can apply online.

    Volunteer students will pass a selection and they will be subsequently trained for specific activities they will be undertaking. The program will enroll an equal number of boys and girls. ''The program - Thurya Al Badran, the head of the volunteer program of the Saudi pavilion, told The National - will lead us to identify a number of talented students who will be able to be ambassadors of our country at a world level.
