France: CFDT union says employees attacked at headquarters

Moderates secretary Berger says 'invasion' by dozens of people

    (ANSAmed) - PARIS, JANUARY 17 - Laurent Berger, secretary-general of the moderate, reformist French Democratic Confederation of Labour (CFDT), France's top labour union, said dozens of people violently entered CFDT's headquarters on Friday and attacked employees.

    CFDT suspended its participation in strikes and demonstrations following the government's concessions on pension reform.(ANSAmed).
