Coronavirus: Greece, Italy to have highest GDP drop in 2020

    BRUSSELS - Greece is expected to see the highest drop in GDP in 2020, a 9.7% decrease, followed by Italy at -9.5%, according to economic forecasts released Wednesday by the European Commission.

    Spain came in third place at -9.4%, with France in fifth at -8.2%.

    Germany came in 18th place in the EU with a 6.5% drop, and Poland is expected to have the least damage, with a 4.3% decrease.
