(ANSAMed) - BEIRUT, JULY 16 - Army tanks took up a position in the central Damascus commercial neighborhood of Midan following clashes between rebels and government forces, Syria's local opposition coordinating committees made known today. The Army also shelled various Damascus neighborhoods, Housh Arab in particular, killing 16 people.
