(ANSAmed) - PRISTINA, JULY 6 - Kosovo's deputy prime minister Bujar Bukoshi and another ten government officials have been accused of corruption by a prosecutor with Eulex, the European mission in Kosovo.

The vice premier is accused of corruption while he was health minister between 2007 and 2010, the Eulex unit in Pristina said in a statement.

Bukoshi is currently in charge of social affairs in the government of prime minister Hashim Thaci. The other officials, who were employed by the Health Ministry during that period, face charges of abuse of power and bad management of public funding.

The fight against corruption and crime are among key conditions set by the EU in Pristina's road to EU membership. (ANSAmed).
