(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, AUGUST 27 - A new high-level meeting of the EU-mediated Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue opened on Thursday in Brussels.

Serbian media reported that the meeting agenda included people who disappeared during the armed conflict at the end of the 1990s, refugees, and economic collaboration.

Prior to the collegiate meeting, the two delegation heads - the Serbian Marko Djuric and the Kosovar Skender Hyseni - met separately with Miroslav Lajcak, EU special representative for the Dialogue on Kosovo.

At the start of September, two meetings are planned at the summit between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovar Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti - the first in Washington on September 4, organised by the US special envoy for Kosovo Richard Grenell, and the other in Brussels on September 7, as part of the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue that has been taking place since 2011 with EU mediation.

The talks officially resumed July 16 after a 20-month interruption. (ANSAmed).
