EU's chief diplomat says no deal on Irene mission for Libya

Migrant division still an issue, 'I hope by end of March'

    (ANSAmed) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 23 - EU High Representative Josep Borrell said Monday that there were still unresolved issues that needed to be worked out prior to beginning the Irene military operation for the monitoring of a UN arms embargo on Libya. The mission is meany to replace Operation Sophia. The main unresolved issue is the distribution of migrants rescued at sea, he noted. Borrell was speaking after a video conference with the EU's 27 foreign ministers.
