(ANSAmed) - Cairo, January 2 - The brotherhood initiative
between the Egyptian and Saudi peoples has launched a campaign
in the kingdom and in the rest of the Arab Gulf to support the
Egyptian economy, Mena reports.
The "Buy from Egypt" initiative called on people in Saudi
Arabia and the Gulf to support the Egyptian economy by
purchasing Egyptian products and to carry out investments in
Egypt to benefit from the facilities announced by the Egyptian
government.
The initiative offered free consultation services in the
legal and trade domains for Gulf tourists and investors coming
to Egypt through its volunteers, the initiative said in a
statement released on Wednesday.
The initiative's officer Mohamed al-Rashid, a Saudi citizen, said that exhibitions will be held in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region to display Egyptian commodities and called on everyone wishing to participate or to export and import with Egypt to contact the initiative. The initiative groups several Saudi and Egyptian nationals including academia, writers, journalists, parliament members and presidential candidates.(ANSAmed)
