The call (EACEA/38/12) aims to support projects under two of the programme's three actions. The Erasmus Mundus Partnership aims at fostering structured cooperation between European and third-country higher education institutions through the promotion of mobility at all level of studies for students (undergraduate and masters), doctoral candidates, researchers, academic and administrative staff (not all regions and lots may include all types of mobility flow). The available funding for projects includes: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia (16.56 million); Jordan, Lebanon, Palestinian territories and Syria (12 million); Israel (1.5 million); Tunisia (4 million).
The Action 3 of the call, with a total budget of 2 million euros, provides support to transnational initiatives and aims at selecting around eight projects, dealing with the promotion of European higher education in certain geographical areas, notably Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood countries. The deadline for submission of applications under all Actions is 15 April 2013.
