ISTANBUL - Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Monday about a crisis in the Gulf between Qatar and other countries in the region that Turkey ''will give any support for its normalisation''.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen and Bahrain severed their ties with Qatar on Monday, accusing it of supporting terrorism. Cavusoglu called for dialogue. His Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov instead said that it was none of Russia's business but that ''the important thing is to unite against international terrorism''.

The Kremlin said that it hoped the matter could be solved in a peaceful manner.
