(ANSAmed)- BELGRADE, JANUARY 26 - Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Museum opened an exhibition entitled 'Tesla's Wondrous World of Electricity' in the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences in Madrid, honouring the Serbian-American scientist's most important inventions and their implementation.

The exhibition was opened by Serbian Ambassador in Spain Jela Bacovic and Royal Academy's President Miguel Angel Alario y Franco.

After the opening ceremony, Nikola Tesla Museum Director Vladimir Jelenkovic delivered a lecture on Tesla's visionary work in various areas, from electrical engineering and radio engineering to mechanical engineering, medicine and aviation, which triggered some of the key milestones in the development of the modern scientific and technological civilisation.

After a number of exhibitions of artefacts from the Belgrade Nikola Tesla Museum which were staged in over 20 countries on four continents, this is the Museum's first exhibit organised in the Spanish language. (ANSAmed)
