(ANSAmed) - Belgrade, January 8 - An annual conference of
Serbian ambassadors posted worldwide, which traditionally takes
place in Belgrade in the first half of January, was cancelled to
save money, according to the daily Danas. The paper said the
decision was taken by Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic.
The meeting, which has taken place annually since 2008, was aimed at outlining Serbia's foreign policy priorities and was usually attended by the Serbian president together with a high official of an EU country as guest. (ANSAmed)
