(ANSAmed) - LJUBLJANA, MAY 29 - The OECD has cut its growth forecast for Slovenia in its latest review of eurozone countries.

According to the latest forecasts for 2013 GDP is expected to be - 2.3%, while growth for 2014 has now been lowered from 1.1% in November to 0.1%.

The OECD said the deteriorating crisis in the banking sector and the negative impact of the reduction in business debt had contributed to the negative outlook.

An increase in unemployment and austerity measures had also played a role in the OECD forecast. (ANSAmed).
