The programme for the literary event was announced today in the presence of the director of the Institute, the Arabist, Federco Arbos, and the Moroccan Culture Minister, Mohamed Amin Sibihi, who praised "Spain's exemplary contribution to cultural life in Morocco," the EFE agency reports.
Spanish authors and those from Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and Costa Rica will meet Moroccan writers including Abdellatif Laabi and Mohamed Bennis, as well as the greatest living Arab poet, the Syrian-Lebanese author Adonis. The event will feature discussions and debates on central themes including "writers and citizens", "writers and readers" and "represented writers". (ANSAmed).
