(ANSAmed) - MILAN, AUGUST 27 - Italy's oil and gas giant ENI is doing its part even in Tunisia in the fight against coronavirus, delivering four pulmonary ventilators to the country through the Tunisian Public Health Ministry.

The ventilators will be distributed to the hospitals 'Charles Nicolle' and 'La Rabta' in Tunis, the regional hospital in Tataouine, and the regional hospital 'Mohamed Taher Maamouri' in Nabeul.

Last March, ENI provided four ventilators and other medical equipment as part of the Rse Tataouine consortium to the city's public hospital, together with food assistance for needy families in the region.

ENI has been operating in Tunisia since 1961. (ANSAmed).
