(ANSAmed) - Beirut, January 23 - Approximately 70 people have been killed as Kurdish militia and rebel jihadist groups have been fighting for a week on the border between Syria and Turkey, according to pan-Arab daily Hayat, which cited local sources and activists. According to the sources quoted by the report, Kurdish militants were resisting yesterday against the fundamentalists' attacks in Ras al Ayn, a town in the eastern region of Hasake which has been controlled by Syria's anti-regime rebel forces.
