13 June, 15:38

(ANSAmed) - ROME, JUNE 13 - Lander Fernàndez has been arrested in Rome, a young Basque of 32 years of age accused of presumably belonging to the terrorist organisation ETA. An international arrest warrant had been issued against him. He was stopped in the street by the Italian Digos police, who are identifying him in these hours in the police headquarters.

The young man, originally from Bilbao, has been living for over a year in the Garbatella quarter of Rome, in a squat occupied by the movement for homes, Action. About a dozen friends and activists of Roman antagonism demonstrated together in front of the Police offices. (ANSAmed).
