First Italian Arab Business Forum opens in Milan

For SMEs interested in region worth 25 bn in H1 2017

    (ANSAmed) - ROME, OCTOBER 11 - The first Italian Arab Business Forum opens in Milan on Thursday on the themes of industrialisation in the Arab world and regional strategies, diversification of the economies of Arab countries, business opportunities in the financial sector, renewables, infrastructure and tourism. Participants include the Italian Minister for Economic Development Carlo Calenda and Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano, Kuwait Minister for Trade Khaled Nasser Abdullah Al Roudan, Bahrain Minister for Trade Zayed R. ALzayani, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Abdulla Al Saleh, and the director general of Italy's foreign trade institute ICE, Piergiorgio Borgogelli.

    One in five Italian companies sells in over seven Arab markets and one in four exports, while Arab countries account for 10% of turnover and trade in the first half of 2017 amounted to 25 billion euros. (ANSAmed).
