(ANSAmed) - ROME, MAY 17 - The goal of the 'Arte & MigrAzioni nel Mediterraneo' (Art and Migration in the Mediterranean area) project is to experiment with new forms of interaction, different art languages applied to the communication sector. The project will be presented tomorrow at 11 am in a press conference in Palazzo Adorno, the seat of the Province of Lecce.

The initiative is organised by the Province, in collaboration with the Mediterranean Cultural Institute, the Association for the circuit of young Italian artists (GAI) and the Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM).

It consists in a 1-month education programme for four creative positions: a photographer/photo reporter, a director/video maker, a writer/journalist and a social media editor. The programme, the organisation report, is open for citizens as well, in the light of broad and shared education. A dedicated tutor will follow the artists in their research. The programme is concluded with an art production, meant for several festival scheduled this summer in the Apulia Region. The opening of a GAI desk will also be announced during the press conference. The association's administrative headquarters will be situated in Castello di Acaya, in the Province of Lecce. (ANSAmed).
