(ANSAmed) - MADRID, DECEMBER 2 - The Grimaldi group is to strengthen its western Mediterranean connections from December 4 with the launch of a new passenger line linking the ports of Salerno, Cagliari and Valencia. Starting on Sunday, the current Salerno-Cagliari-Valencia link operated by Grimaldi for the transport of rail goods will be extended to a passenger service using a fast ship, company sources say in a statement. The Catania motorship, which has a capacity of more than 800 passengers, 170 vehicles spaces and 2,250 linear metres of cargo space, will be used on the line. The boat also has 93 cabins and 62 reclining seats, as well as catering services, a videogame area, slot machines, shops, sunbeds, a bar and the Club Vesuvio area. (ANSAmed).
