(ANSAmed) - AGRIGENTO, AUGUST 19 - The quarantine ship "Aurelia" managed to dock at Lampedusa on Wednesday following several attempts, and boarding has begun for the 250 migrants from the Imbriacola hotspot.

About 15 other non-EU citizens who have tested positive for the coronavirus will also board the ship.

The Agrigento prefect is working with the government to find more available places in various facilities across the country in order to plan new transfers to alleviate the presence of migrants on the island.(ANSAmed). (ANSA).
