TEL AVIV - After the third wave of new coronavirus cases has subsided, Israel is trying to gradually go back to normal and this weekend - for the first time in several months - Tel Aviv will offer the possibility of attending in a stadium the concerts of four popular singers.

Between Friday and Sunday, Ivri Lider, Shalom Hanoch, Yardena Arazi and Dikla will perform separately in front of 500 people who have all been vaccinated for over a week with two doses of the Pfizer vaccine and who have a 'Green Pass' as a consequence.

Members of the public have been assigned distanced seats.

After the municipality's announcement in the morning organizers said that tickets sold out quickly. "We have been trying to organize outdoor events for months", said Mayor Ron Hulday. "Now we finally have a chance. We are determined to go back to the routine of cultural events and enjoyment that represent the spirit of Tel Aviv".
