    (ANSAmed) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 11 - These are the main events scheduled in the Euro-Mediterranean area for today: BARCELONA - The National Day of Catalonia (Catalan: Diada Nacional de Catalunya), a festival that commemorates the 1714 fall of Barcelona by soldiers under Bourbon king Philip V of Spain.

    STRASBURG - European Parliament, European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker will be taking part in a debate on the future of Europe with Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras. STRASBURG - European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker will be meeting with the leaders of political groups (until 12/9). OTRANTO - The 10th edition of the Festival of Mediterranean Journalists continues (until 16/9).

    TUNIS - 4th edition of the 'Summer School on Migration' (until 15/9). STRASBURG - European Parliament plenary session (until 13/9).

    ABU DHABI - The exhibition 'Japanese Connections: the Birth of Modern Decor', continues at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi and includes a series of paintings and etchings from the XIX and XX centuries that highlight the dialogue between the East and the West (until November 24).

    ROME - 'Estate in Biblioteca, il Cinema Legge il Mondo', a festival of Italian and foreign films in Rome libraries, organized in collaboration with MedFilm Festival (until September 27). (ANSAmed).
