General strike in Greece
(ANSAmed) - ROME - The Greek government will meet tomorrow at noon to approve the agreement on austerity measures in return for international aid, Bloomberg reports a Greek government spokesman as saying. The spokesman added that this evening Prime Minister Lucas Papademos will issue a statement after a meeting with leaders of political parties on the new plan of cuts and that the Eurogroup meeting on the Greek bailout could be convened for 9 February.
