Serbia: UAE to invest in Serbian infrastructure

    (ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, 7 AUGUST - The Serbian government and Global Capital Advisors Management (GCAM) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation in which the United Arab Emirates company pledges to invest in the Serbian infrastructure and construction industry.

    The agreement was signed by Serbia's Minister of Construction and Urbanism Velimir Ilic and CEO of GCAM Arun Ramswaroopji Panchariya at the Serbian government building, in the presence of Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and advisor to the UAE foreign minister Muhammad Al Suvaidia. The main purpose of the memorandum is the establishment of a joint company of the Serbian government and GCAM, which will finance and develop industrial and infrastructure projects in Serbia. The projects will be jointly financed from a fund whose first EUR 10 to 15 million will come from GCAM. (ANSAmed)
