(ANSAmed) - BERLIN, NOVEMBER 22 - German chancellor Angela
Merkel said in a meeting with Greece's prime minister, Antonis
Samaras, in Berlin on Friday that Germany would continue to
support Greece. One of the measures to be introduced is a bank
for local development supported by the German Development Bank
KfW.
''We are at a good point,'' in talks on this issue, said Merkel. The Institute for Growth will receive an initial 500,000 euros in funding, ''100,00 of which from the KfW,'' said Samaras, noting that it would help to ''bolster the economy and support Greek SMEs in a period in which liquidity is absolutely necessary''. (ANSAmed).
