(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, AUGUST 26 - After three rockets were launched from Gaza at Israel over the night, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu on Monday morning halved the transfer of diesel for the electricity station in the Gaza Strip. The measure will remain in place until further notice. The announcement was made by Coordinator of the Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) chief Kamil Abu Rukun.

Diesel passes from Israel to the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom border crossing. The power station provides electricity to most of Gaza.
