According to the Enpi website (www.enpi-info.eu), the website ''Audiovisual memory of the Mediterranean'' (http://www.medmem.eu/) includes the archives of 14 television stations of the Mediterranean, which makes it the largest online video collection devoted to the historical, cultural and tourist heritage of the region.
Med-Mem, co-financed by the European Union in the framework of Euromed Heritage programme, gives access to the public to about 4,000 audiovisual documents free of charge. It offers a trilingual website (in English, French, Arabic) with an intuitive browsing by theme, geographical zone or historical period, enriched with clarifications and different perspectives from 40 experts of the Mediterranean. A network of educational and cultural institutions (museums, libraries, universities) are offering to the public the possibility to consult the website in order to extend its dissemination. The National Library in Rabat, the faculties and schools of Hassan II University, as well as the High Institute of Journalism and Information in Casablanca, the Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Larbi Alaoui Cultural Centre and the Abderrahim Bouabid theatre in Mohammedia, have all accepted to favour the access of this new resource to students, teachers, professionals and the public, which makes of Morocco the first country of dissemination of Med-Mem.
