(ANSAmed) - NAPLES - The Abu Dhabi Festival has produced a performance stretching around the world through 13 compositions played by 128 musicians from 20 countries, celebrating the musical traditions and culture of every continent.

The virtual concert will be held on March 30 and is entitled Hekayat: Symphonic Tales. It is the work of the UAE composer Ihab Darwish.

On the abudhabifestival.ae website, the concert - using sophisticated technology - will involve the individually-recorded musicians appearing on a single stage of the luxurious Emirates Palace Auditorium in Abu Dhabi. The individual performances have been synchronised digitally and post-production technology has made it possible to bring all the musicians into an online 3D model of the stage.

For the occasion, Darwish has brought together an impressive group of international musicians including the illustrious Beethoven Academy Orchestra of Krakow, conducted by maestro Tomasz Tokarczyk, the VOX Chamber Choir, tenor José Cura, and the musicians Sara Andon, Kodō, Carlos Piñana, and Kinan Azmeh.

The event showcases the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Festival to promote cultural diplomacy and support the growth of performing arts in the UAE and across the world.(ANSAmed).
