Mali: Hundreds fleeing to Mauritania

(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, JANUARY 14 - Hundreds of Malians, mostly from the cities of Lere' and Konna, have been fleeing the conflict by crossing the border with Mauritania in the past few hours, the local press reports. Once in Mauritania, the refugees are reportedly travelling to the city of Fassala. According to reports citing the refugees, jihadist militants who were based in Lere' and Konna have been fleeing the area hit by French air raids.(ANSAmed).
