(ANSAmed) - VATICAN CITY, AUGUST 12 - The Vatican did not
confirm on Monday a report according to which Italian Jesuit
priest Paolo Dall'Oglio is dead. 'We still don't have any
information on the matter', Father Ciro Benedettini, the deputy
director of the Vatican press office, told reporters. The
Vatican is monitoring the situation through the Nunciature in
Damascus and the Jesuit Curia. (ANSAmed)
