Libya: Tripoli, interior minister eludes attack

    (ANSAmed) - TRIPOLI, JANUARY 29 - Libya's Interior Minister Al Sadiq Abeld Karim on Wednesday morning eluded an attack, Lana news agency reports. According to Lana, unidentified men opened fire on the car carrying the minister to a meeting near the headquarters of the General national congress.

    According to sources close to the ministry, Abdel Karim, who is also deputy premier, was unharmed and nobody reported injuries. The attackers, their faces covered, were onboard a car with dark windows, according to eye witnesses. (ANSAmed)
