(ANSAmed) - TRIPOLI, APRIL 18 - The Portuguese embassy in
Tripoli was stormed last night, well-informed sources told ANSA
on Friday. Four gunmen broke into the embassy at 2 am, wounding
security guards. The four then fled after more security officers
arrived at the scene.
The motives of the break-in are still unclear though theft is reportedly considered a likely possibility. (ANSAmed)
