(ANSAmed) - ROME, APRIL 14 - Police in the Sicilian city of
Ragusa has detained a suspected people trafficker from Guinea
who arrived with a group of migrants on Monday and is also
suspected of having thrown the body of a dead refugee to sharks
during the crossing from North Africa. The refugee is said to
have died after breathing in petrol that spilled over him due to
rough sea conditions. The trafficker allegedly threw him to
sharks that were following the migrants' dinghy. (ANSAmed).
