(ANSAmed) - ISTANBUL, DECEMBER 18 - Turkish police arrested
at the Ataturk airport in Istanbul two Syrians suspected of ties
with ISIS, local media reported on Friday. The two men, aged 54
and 58, arrived in Istanbul on Thursday afternoon. A reported
148 original passports were found in their luggage, mostly
European, along with two mini video cams hidden in as many pens
and 10 European and Turkish SIM cards.
The men were apprehended following intelligence reports according to which the suspects had repeatedly travelled to war zones in Syria. (ANSAmed).
