(ANSAmed) - BERLIN, JULY 6 - About 40 migrants from Balkan nations threatened with deportation have since Tuesday been occupying the Regensburg cathedral as a form of protest. A spokesman for the diocese said that the police would not intervene but that ''asylum in the church'' would not be granted. Those protesting are calling for the right to remain in Germany. They had been lodged in Bavarian repatriation centers in Ingolstadt and Regensburg until Tuesday. (ANSAmed).
