Three men charged in Malta for journalist's murder

They were arrested Monday with seven other suspects

    (ANSAmed) - ROME, DECEMBER 6 - A judge in Malta late Tuesday evening charged three men in relation to the car-bomb murder of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, according to the Times of Malta.

    It said the three, who pleaded not guilty, were part of a group of 10 suspects arrested on Monday.

    The men - brothers Alfred and George Degiorgio and Vince Muscat - are well-known in local criminal circles and were known to police, it said.

    The newspaper said it is still unclear if there was someone who commissioned the journalist's murder, which took place on October 16.(ANSAmed).
