Syria: access to Douma denied to OPCW inspectors, UK

Moscow, delay due to consequence of US, allies' attack

    ROME - The British delegation of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) on Tuesday said that the organization's inspectors have been denied access to Douma, Syria, where a mission was scheduled to investigate on a recent suspected chemical attack, Sky News reports.
    The Russian deputy foreign minister was quoted as saying by Tass that the delay ''is due to the effects of the attack carried out by the US and its allies''.
