03 August, 13:07

ISTANBUL - Turkish authorities will transfer 34,180 Syrian refugees from five camps in the south-eastern provinces of Gaziantep, Adiyaman and Mardin, to other structures that are closer to the border with Syria.
The decision was announced by the migration office of Ankara to camp managers who will have to complete in the coming weeks the reallocation of refugees to the border provinces of Hatay, Kilis and Sanliurfa.
The initiative is part of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's stated intention during the electoral campaign to ''make Syria safe, starting from areas close to the border, and facilitate the return home of all our guests'' from Syria.
