Four dead in migrant shipwreck in Aegean, 30 missing

One rescued, boat was likely headed to Lesbo

    (ANSAmed) - ISTANBUL, OCTOBER 10 - At least four people died and another 30 are missing on Wednesday after a migrant boat shipwrecked in the Aegean Sea off the Turkish coast of Karaburun in the province of Izmir, according to Turkish news agency Anadolu.

    It said the boat was likely headed towards the Greek island of Lesbo.

    Rescue units from Ankara arrived on the scene and have thus far rescued one person, while a search continues for those missing.(ANSAmed).
