Nadal with volunteers cleans up Majorca after floods

Some 50 displaced residents hosted at tennis player's center

    (ANSAmed) - ROME, OCTOBER 11 - Tennis player Rafael Nadal joined residents in Sant Llorenc des Cardassar, Majorca, to help clean up houses and roads after torrential rains devastated the eastern part of the island, killing 10 people. A five-year-old boy is still missing. At least 200 people are homeless.

    A video published by El Pais showed the athlete working with other volunteers. After the floods, Nadal offered the buildings of his sports center to accommodate those forced to leave their homes. About 50 people are currently staying at the center.
