(ANSAmed) - BEIRUT, JANUARY 10 - Syrian Qaedist militias and their pro-Turkey rivals in Idlib have reached a truce that actually agrees to a wider control of the territory by al Qaeda in the region of north-western Syria, sources on the ground said Thursday.

The agreement was reportedly reached on Thursday morning by Qaedist leaders in Syria, including non-Syrian members, and the National Front for Liberation, a coalition of militias backed by Ankara, which suffered military defeats over the past few days.
