Libyan navy rescues 38 migrants

Including pregnant woman

    (ANSAmed) - CAIRO, JULY 24 - The Libyan navy on Wednesday rescued 38 migrants attempting to cross the Mediterranean on a dinghy in distress off Ras Agedir, a town about 177 km west of Tripoli.

    Among them was a pregnant woman. There were 27 Egyptians and two Nigerians on the boat, while the rest were from Guinea, Ivory Coast, Niger and Ghana. After receiving medical and humanitarian aid, the migrants were handed over to the center run by the agency dealing with the fight against illegal migration in Tripoli. (ANSAmed).
