Two migrants drown in Serbian lake at Croatian border

    (ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, OCTOBER 1 - Two migrants died by drowning in a small lake in northwest Serbia, near the Croatian border, local media said on Tuesday.

    Reports said the drowning occurred on Tuesday morning and rescue operations are underway to recover the two bodies.

    The migrants most likely entered the lake in an attempt to illegally cross into Croatia to continue their journey towards western Europe.(ANSAmed).
