CAIRO - The forces of Libyan eastern commander Khalifa Haftar on Wednesday said they have carried out two air raids that destroyed installations from which ''Turkish drones'' were prepared and armed. Such drones were used in raids of the national unity government of Fayez al Sarraj, according to the statement.
The attacks hit the airport of Mitiga, in Tripoli, and of Misrata, according to Ahmed el Mesmari, spokesman of the so-called Libyan National Army (LNA) of Haftar. ''One hundred percent of our targets were struck and our jets returned to their bases safe and sound'', added Mesmari in a statement published on his Facebook page.
For its part Sarraj's government accuses Haftar's forces of using drones of the United Arab Emirates.
