Syria: Turkey says army to cross border soon

'Together with local militias of Free Syrian army'

    ISTANBUL - ''The Turkish army, together with the Free Syrian Army (Ankara-backed local Arab militias) will soon cross the Turkish-Syrian border'', the head of communication of the Turkish presidency, Fahrettin Altun wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
    ''(Kurdish) YPG militants have two options: they can desert or we will need to stop them from interrupting our efforts to fight ISIS'', added Altun.
    The head of communication wrote a comment published by the Washington Post to express the point of view of the government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the imminent cross-border offensive.
    ''The world must support Turkey's plan for northeastern Syria'' was the headline of the comment.
